Wiz and Mac this Saturday in PGH!

Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller have been touring the country this summer for their “Under the Influence of Music” tour. While we’re sure they’re under the influence of something else too, we can’t help but get excited for our hometown boys and their huge co-headlining tour. Individually, the artists’ success has been heavily attributed to their non-stop touring schedules. Arguably two of the biggest rappers in the U.S. right now, Wiz and Mac are going to break it down for their hometown fans and have brought a talented crew of support along for the ride, such as the buzz worthy Kendrick Lamar, School Boy Q and Chevy Woods, who could each hold their own if it came down to it.

This will also mark Wiz and Mac’s performance in their biggest Pittsburgh venue, as the last time they played the city individually, they were at Stage AE. Saturday’s show will have a much bigger feel. We hope they have the production to back up their rhymes! Mac Miller was featured in the most recent issue of Whirl, so if you haven’t had a chance to check that out yet make sure you peep it before the show to see what he’s been up to other than being adorable.

Acquaint yourself with the others on the lineup:

If these song topics are any indication of the time we’ll have, we are SO there! Along those lines, check out this clever article a Village Voice blogger wrote about must-dos for the modern weed rapper.

This show begins at 5:30, with doors at 4:30 at First Niagara Pavilion in Burgettstown. Tickets range from $25-$80 and can be purchased here.

And if you aren’t ready for the party to stop by the time the show’s over, head on over to our boy Bonics’ after party at S Bar in the South Side. As Wiz Khalifa’s right hand man, we expect nothing less than a banger from Bonics. He knows how to throw a party!
