VIA Presents is back for another installment of forward-thinking music that will have your toes tapping and hips poppin’ in no time. Join VIA at their newly-crowned 6119 space for Kassem Mosse and special guest Shawn Rudiman this Friday night. Gunnar Wendel, AKA Kassem Mosse, has released tracks on house staple labels such as Laid, Mikrodisko, Spectral Sound and Kinda Soul. He has also veered off the beaten path, venturing into more unexpected territories with efforts on Meatlheadz, Doldrums and NonPlus+. He garnered attention after Omar-S provided two remixes to one of his tracks.

Mosse has grown into an important name for house and techno heads over the past few years, with his driving Detroit beats to blissful, mesmerizing synths that Resident Advisor claims to be, “strange enough to be interesting, but still able to keep you dancing all night”. –RA Check out one of his live sets below:

Joining Mosse, one of the worthiest DJs to come out of Pittsburgh in some time, the talented Shawn Rudiman, who was a gem of the city’s techno scene during last year’s tag team set with Claude Young. His live synths and drum machines reflect his top notch ability to move a crowd. Hop on over to Humanaut’s website to relive the night and listen to the set via their Sustainable Podcast Series.

This event takes place at 6119 Penn Avenue in East Liberty and starts at 9:30 with a loose ending time, but expect to be there until at least 2! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here. The event could likely sell out, so grab them tickies while you still can!
