Dutch house sensation, Gregor Salto, will be coming through the ‘Burgh this Friday the 13th, bringing his electric sounds. As both a producer and DJ, he has dominated the Dutch scene for over 10 years. But now, he is embarking on tour through America, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East and one of his stops is here in the Steel City at Static Nightclub in the Strip!

“I’m known for being very versatile,” says Gregor of himself, “Often I’m banging out tunes on the main stage, but I can also be found playing a Latin house set, or a soulful house set. I think that is definitely my strongest point.” As an artist, he is constantly seeking to cross existing boundaries and take on new challenges. As listeners, we see this in his wide variety of tracks which range from Latin house with remixed tracks like “Mas Que Nada,” and originals like “Paris Luanda” and “Damelo” to more Dutch house tracks like “What Happens in Vegas” – a collab with fellow Dutch DJ Chuckie – that reached the number one spot on Beatport. (Another collab between the two DJs “Toys Are Nuts 2013” has been played by fellow artists like Bingo Players and Tiesto). And if his work as a DJ wasn’t enough, he also produces and has worked with artists like George Michael, Rita Ora and J-Lo and dance icons Axwell and Nicky Romero.

If you love house, and are over the age of 21, then you know where to be this Friday! Opening sets start at 9:00PM with Tenova and resident DJ Strobe. Admission is $5 before 11:00PM. Proper dress is required so don’t forget to look your best and, of course, lose yourself in the music!
