A Guide to ModCloth’s IRL Pittsburgh Pop Up

Published On September 7, 2016 | By Leah Kennedy | Lists

Within the close confines of a college dorm room, two high school sweethearts set forth on a new endeavor–a community-inspired shopping experience for fashion-forward collectors and trendsetters, alike.

Susan Gregg Koger’s passion for thrifting rare vintage came to life in 2002, when a new website created by her now-husband, Eric, became the portal for their online business and clothing shop–ModCloth.

The rest was history…

The shop has since grown into three major U.S. cities–including Pittsburgh’s headquarters–with over 350 employees.

Since its inception, ModCloth has been carefully curated to encourage personal styles, and motivate customers from every walk of life to feel like the “best version of themselves.”

Apparel is selected from hundreds of independent designers, as founders hope to share the wealth of made-with-love pieces that leave you feeling elated upon their purchase.

The ModCloth team continues to be inspired by feedback from their dedicated shopping community; and in just a few short weeks, they’ll be paying it forward in Pittsburgh.

Here, guests can browse a selection of unique staples and wares; catch an opportunity to shop with a personal Mod Cloth stylist; and have a chance to mingle with movers and shakers in Pittsburgh’s creative realms–from fashion, to craftwork and music.

We’ve also put together a pre-game checklist of onsite events and ModMusic Series performances happening during the week-long excursion…
