In the past, some may have said Pittsburgh hardly had a sophisticated fashion scene, but we know that’s just not true – at least, not anymore – especially with the arrival of stunning events like The Masked Ball. Brought to us by the duo who produced the popular Madcap Masquerade fundraisers benefiting Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy in the past, Brett James and Tara Rieland are back with a haute couture fashion show at CAVO Nightclub on Saturday, October 19th. Not only will the event feature 13 regional designers, but proceeds will benefit Gwen’s Girls, a non-profit dedicated to empowering girls and young women to lead productive lives.
You can enjoy the evening in one of two ways. VIP tickets cost $125 in advance or $135 at the door. They include a private champagne reception at 7 p.m., with hors d’ourves, a special VIP area, premier seating, complimentary gift bags, and more. You can also purchase general tickets for $75 in advance or $85 at the door, and they include an open bar, photo opportunities, and the fashion show, which begins at 9PM. All guests are encouraged to dress black tie and of course, don’t forget your mask!
Featured designers: Tori Mistick, Holly Thomas, Brett James Snyder, Keith Bloom, Richard Bryan, Zoe Collins, Alex Beitler, Loom, Jena-Anne Sabom, Nina VonSuch, Elaine Healy, Lybbie Lewis and Erica Ersick.
