Screen Shot 2014-08-11 at 4.07.05 PMCome one, come all! Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival, presented by Funny or Die, is coming to First Niagra Pavilion in Burgettstown on Saturday, August 30. This laugh-out-loud show has performances by some of comedy’s pioneers. The lineup for the Pittsburgh show includes favorites like Sarah Silverman, Bill Burr, Brent Morin, Chris D’Elia, Chris Hardwick, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jeffries, Michael Che, DJ Trauma, Brody Stevens, and more.

Sarah Silverman is one of comedy’s leading ladies. For those of you unfamiliar with Silverman, you will recognize her for her comedic satire on controversial issues concerning racism, sexism, and religion. For three years, she had her own sitcom on Comedy Central, The Sarah Silverman Program, and just recently took on the role of ‘Ruth’ in A Million Ways to Die in the West.

Xo3Lq7gBill Burr specializes in crude comedic satire on just about anything. Born in Massachusetts, Burr has a distinguishable Boston accent that has become a staple in his famous performances. Burr hosts a podcast every week, The Monday Morning Podcast, where he discusses topics like wearing uniforms in sports. Fair warning, F-bombs will be dropped. For all you Breaking Bad die hards, he played in a few episodes as ‘Kuby.’

Chris Hardwick will be there too. From his stand-up comedy, to his podcasts, Hardwick is a hard player to keep up with. Hardwick’s comedy is mostly centered around his sarcasm in pop and nerd culture. As CEO of Nerdist Industries, he hosts The Nerdist Podcast, which is a weekly interview show “about what it really means to be a nerd.” He also hosted the show Singled Out, on MTV, and is currently host of @midnight on Comedy Central. His company is the digital division of Legendary Entertainment.

eni_S9DmHannibal Buress is a stand-up comedian, actor, and TV writer associated with shows like Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, and Broad City. Most recently he performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and he has written sketches for shows like Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock.
