The Bleachers Giveaway

bleachers pittsburgh eventsPopular indie rock band Fun.’s guitarist Jack Antonoff kept his musical side project, Bleachers, a big secret until February of this year, when he dropped his first single, “I Wanna Get Better” in conjunction with his website. Call it what you will, but he’s enjoyed a comfortable level of success since branching out on his own, careful not to tread on the toes of the band that helped catapult his talent into the spotlight. He began working on his solo material during his down time on tour, only telling his close family members of his plan. But now, six months after its launch, Antonoff’s ready for a tour of his own. He hits Pittsburgh August 30 and will play Mr. Smalls, an ambitious booking for an artist as new as him.

His full-length debut, Strange Desire, came out last month on RCA Records, and its single “Rollercoaster” has been dubbed a summer 2014 anthem.

His upcoming tour is a long one. It kicked off yesterday in Indianapolis and wraps up in Philly in November. Joining him will be openers Young Rising Sons and locals Teammate. Doors are at 7 and music starts at 8. We suggest grabbing your tickets now if you really want to go, but if you’re the gambling type, take your chances in our latest giveaway below. Good luck!
