Those who attended the Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival at Stage AE this past Saturday may have already been introduced to the ‘Burgh’s newest food truck. Uncle Charley’s Sausage recently added Square Café to their mobile team to bring us Pittsburgh’s first Brunch Truck!

The sleek black truck, covered in adjectives used to describe its food, will be serving a brunch menu prepared by Square Café featuring Uncle Charley’s Sausage. This past weekend, patrons at the Pierogi Fest got to try a special treat from the Brunch Truck team. At the event they offered their take on the pierogi with a side of hot Uncle Charley’s sausage in a red sauce. We can only hope that Square Café’s Pierogi Benedict with hot sausage, caramelized onions, and yellow peppers will make the mobile menu too…

Uncle Charley’s, located in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, has been producing sausage for over 25 years. Their founder started the company with a knack for spice blending and a demand for honest and fresh ingredients. They pride themselves on using lean, premium cuts of pork and all-natural casings. Sherree Goldstein founded Square Café in 2003 after becoming inspired to bring seasonal and local food to Regent Square. The café’s quality, taste, and friendliness are among Goldstein’s priorities as well as providing customers with a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

You can keep track of this local, all-natural Brunch Truck by following Uncle Charley’s and Square Café on Twitter. Enjoy!
