brew3Beer, food and games all in one – can it get any better than this?

If any or all of these things interest you, then check out the first annual Brew ‘N Chew on January 11th at the Monroeville Convention Center.

Not your average beer fest, the Brew ‘N Chew (presented by GoodTaste! Pittsburgh) features activities where beer is a necessary compliment – darts, pool, Wii bowling, golf’s 19th hole, and an interactive tailgating area with local Pittsburgh bands playing throughout the event on the main stage. Beer and food demonstrations, tastings, and discussions will also be featured in the demo area.

On tap this year will be samples from Brooklyn Brewery, Iron City Brewing Co., Cellar Door Brewing, Great Lakes, Sierra Nevada, Church Brew Works, Flying Dog, Helltown, Rogue, Penn Brewery, Sam Adams, Laguintas, Southern Tier and many more! Food provided by Wooden Nickel, Johnny Mac Pizza, BBQ Stu’s and Philly Pretzel Factory.
Legendary Brooklyn Brewery brewmaster Garret Oliver will be headlining the event discussing how to create the perfect pair when matching food with beer. With more than 20 years of experience, Oliver is one of the foremost authorities in the world on the subject of beer.

Both general admission ($35) and designated driver tickets ($15) are available online for both the afternoon and night sessions. And of course, you have to be over the age of 21 to attend.

Part of the proceeds benefits the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Give Kids The World.
