eatPGHThe babes of eatPGH, who already have one book under their belt, are gearing up to launch their second. Entitled Pittsburgh Chef’s Table: Extraordinary Recipes from the Steel City, the book includes over 90 recipes from local chefs and over 100 photographs. To celebrate the culmination of this release, the girls are hosting a launch party this Saturday at Marty’s Market in The Strip. If you haven’t been to Marty’s before, consider this your chance to get acquainted with the new-ish space, as well as the lovely women of eatPGH.

If the $40 advance ticket price seems a bit steep for your pocketbook, consider the fact that in addition to leaving with a slight buzz and a belly of food, you’ll be walking away with a tangible object (a $24.95 value) and get to enjoy over 90 recipes from some of Pittsburgh’s top chefs for months to come. According to the girls, “Shared recipes feature appetizers, entrees, desserts, and cocktails and range from easy-to-prepare to “what’s happening here” difficulty.” PCT Cover Image

Perhaps the best part, aside from the book launch, is the open bar, which features cocktails from Boyd and Blair Potato Vodka, Maggie’s Farm Rum, and beer from Full Pint Brewery. Once you get tipsy enough, dance to the musical stylings of DJ SoulStrings, who will provide the evening’s entertainment.

It all goes down this Saturday, December 7th at Marty’s Market from 7-10PM. Tickets can be purchased in advance here, or at the door for $50.
