Exposures,” a window display and artist product series in The Warhol Store, honors Warhol’s early career as a window dresser in Pittsburgh. Displays are designed by local masters and recent grads in CMU’s art department, artists Elizabeth Rudnick and Jamie Earnest. The duo will discuss their installations at the museum, as well as their artistic practices regarding abstraction–from materials, to approaches, to future projects, and what it means to be an artist here in Pittsburgh.

In what’s sure to be a solid afterhours affair to anticipate each month, the DETOUR crew is setting up shop in their new residency at Hot Mass this weekend. The collective will take you on a journey from late night to early morning, and they’re coming correct with a choice lineup of locals and out-of-towners. This night features Alex, Chloe,  plus DETOUR’s own tastemakers, Gusto & Naeem.

Wood Fest, an indoor mountain bike festival, is hitting Pittsburgh this month! PGH bikers and lovers of the outdoors are welcome to check out skills clinics, bike demos from brands around the region and local bike shops, plus challenges/contests, and food and drink from Point Brugge, The Steer and Wheel, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Erie Brewing Company and Southern Tier. Indoor camping spots are available for the two-day affair, and individuals are welcome to set up their own table for Dirt Rag Magazine‘s Bike Garage Sale.
