Mobb Deep celebrates the 20th Anniversary of “Hell on Earth” this week in the Burgh. Come out to witness the iconic hip-hop artists performing timeless tracks spanning over their last two career decades. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is gearing up for their next quarterly installment of the Gallery Crawl, an up-close-and-personal look into several local/international artists and musicians throughout the Cultural District downtown. Creative masterminds at VIA and BOOM Concepts have teamed up to bring critically acclaimed rapper CAKES DA KILLA to the Burgh. As part of the Pittsburgh Earth Day celebration, the Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area will hold their Steel to Sustainable Festival and benefit at Carrie Furnaces this Saturday. The day-long event will feature performances by Barrels to Beethoven, Red Room Effect, Colonel Eagleburger’s Highstepping Goodtime Band, Daily Grind, and more; a Hard Hat Art Show featuring local artists in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the hard hat; plus, plenty of onsite food trucks (cash only) including Second Breakfast, La Palapa, Mexican Gourmet Kitchen, and Randita’s. Eleven-member, multi-generational collective, Fanfare Ciocãrlia, has a history that spans the globe; and it comes to life on their latest work “Queens and Kings,” an album that draws together the reigning royalty of Europe’s Roma musicians and pays touching tribute to Ciocarlia’s late bandleader, Ioan Ivancea. This weekend, they’ll bring their immersive live performance of intricate brass music, Gypsy electronica, and cultural fusion to Spirit for a show you won’t want to miss.

Pittsburgh Earth Day‘s TEDxPittsburgh Brunch goes off at noon this Sunday in the newly opened Revel + Roost in the heart of Market Square. The event will take place in the private dining room located on the second floor of the restaurant, and ticket price includes all brunch items from assorted pastries, to scrambled eggs; breakfast sausage, home fried potatoes, tea, coffee, juices, and more. Additionally, TEDxPittsburgh will host speakers giving talks on sustainability and green innovation, including 2015 TEDx alum, Diane Turncheck, speaking on light pollution; 2014 TEDx alum, Leah Lizarondo, discussing food waste, and new speaker Michael Sturges, a cidermaker from a A Few Bad Apples who will discuss using forgotten fruit for philanthropy.
