Is it worth it, let me WRK it! OK maybe I can’t in the traditional sense that song is referring to but I’m going to be WRKing it in some capacity this Saturday at WRK FEST 12, which is presented by the peeps at WRK Clothes and Dos-Noun. This 12-hour event combines music, clothing and art for what’s guaranteed to be a hell of a good time. Be sure to get there early when doors open at 1 to check out the WRK Clothes Spring Line. Deejays start around 5 and live performances will pop off around 9. They’ll start charging a $5 cover for wristbands around 6PM if you’re staying for the shows, so get there early, stay late, and imbibe on the complimentary Iron City Beer that’s being served up. You can also obtain free admission (a wristband) if you buy a WRK Clothes tee. We suggest getting more bang for your buck and going that route!
Deejays for the evening include:
Closing dance party with Keeb$
Billy Mayo of The 58s solo show
Time Capsoul (Dos-Noun & BZE)
Varsity Squad (Beedie & Jon Quest)
There will also be blue collar-themed art displayed by the following talented folks:
And MORE. This event is jam packed with surprises, so by no means is this everything that’s goin down. Expect the unexpected.
Please note: the event has been moved from the Brew House in the South Side to the International Children’s Art Gallery at 5020 Penn Ave. A bigger space means more peeps and more fun, so get off the couch and spend your Saturday chillin’ with WRK Clothes, Iron City Beer and all their homies!
