World AIDS Day – PGH Style
AIDS. Nobody likes it, but it’s something we have to deal with. As someone who knows a person who has passed as a result of the disease, I do not take it lightly. If you know someone whose had or has it, or are simply passionate about the cause, this post’s for you! December 1 is internationally recognized as World AIDS Day, and we’re here to show you how you can get in on the action and support raising funds and awareness for this terrible affliction.
Eat out! The following restaurants will be donating a portion of the day’s proceeds to (Pittsburgh) RED: Abay Ethiopian Cuisine, The Quiet Storm, La Gourmandine Bakery, Legume, Pittsburgh Cafe, Round Corner Cantina, Tana Ethiopian Cuisine, Square Cafe, Elements Contemporary Cuisine, and Lincoln’s P&G Diner.
