The Streets Grand Opening at Seven Springs

The folks at Seven Springs, Forum Snowboards, Forum Team riders Pat Moore and Nic Sauvé and Snow Park Technologies have teamed up to bring snowboarders something they until now, could only dream of. Straight out of something you’d find at the X Games, The Streets, a one-of-a-kind urban park, is set to debut Thursday, January 19 at Seven Springs. This is a game-changer in terms of urban snowboarding, as not too many resorts have incorporated a park of this type into their design. “Being able to bring this level of urban features to a full access resort is something we used to only dream of,” said Forum Brand Manager Kevin Winkel. “The features in The Streets will forever change how resorts look at building parks.”

In addition to The Streets project, Seven Springs also has plans to expand its superpipe. Located in The Spot, the halfpipe’s 18-foot walls will be raised to 22 feet in height, making it a regulation Olympic-sized halfpipe. This halpipe will be one of only two of its size on the East Coast when completed. DAYOM!

The Grand Opening celebration kicks off this Thursday the 19th at Seven Springs. Those scheduled to attend include Pat Moore, Nic Suave, Austen Sweetin, Stevie Bell, Cam Pierce and Mario Kaepelli. The day’s itinerary includes:
