A Sweet Revenge Night Out in Southside Giveaway
On October 11th, along East Carson Street in Southside, you’ll get your chance to drink pink in honor of everyone’s favorite thing… the boobies. Sweet Revenge, the original wild strawberry sour mash, is throwing a night out that you won’t want to miss! Not only is Sweet Revenge made in Pennsylvania, they’re keeping their fundraising efforts local too. All of the ticket proceeds will go to the PA based organization, Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
The party will kick off with registration at the new Steel Cactus in Southside at 5:00pm. Starting at 6:00pm, bars along and close to East Carson Street will host Sweet Revenge specials, giveaways, photo opps, and surprises throughout the night. We’re gonna be there, toasting with their official drink of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Strawberry Cure (Sweet Revenge + club soda with a lemon). Tickets are $10 and they’ve got a bundle package where you can get two free tickets with the purchase of a 10-pack. The first 300 ticket buyers get a t-shirt, which is a fashionable way to support this great cause! Get your tickets now or enter our giveaway below.
Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s mission is to provide people with trusted breast cancer information and a community of support. In 1991, radiation oncologist Marisa C. Weiss, MD, founded the organization due to the increasing need for breast-cancer-related information, connection and support after completing treatment. Back then, LBBC focused exclusively on the post-treatment experience; but today, LBBC has expanded to assist women at all stages of diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Their efforts include making specialized programs and services available for everyone; from the newly diagnosed and young women, to those with advanced breast cancer and women at high risk for developing the disease. They also offer programs for caregivers and healthcare professionals to help meet the needs of these strong women battling breast cancer.
Supporting this fight for the ta-tas is Sweet Revenge. If you haven’t tried it yet, the 77 proof strawberry flavored sour mash that’s been around for a little over two years is smooth, sweet, and dangerously delicious. For the past two months, they’ve been hitting Pittsburgh hard with their #MADEINPA campaign to help spread awareness of the brand and support a cure. In addition to the ticket proceeds for the Night Out, $1 of every bottle of Sweet Revenge sold in October will also go to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
