Support Community Causes with Coats, Cocktails & Cuisine
On December 5, home, health and lifestyle mag, Taste of Pittsburgh, will celebrate their first annual Taste the Difference: Coats, Cocktails & Cuisine, a signature event slated to help raise awareness for those in need.
In addition to a holiday party, Taste the Difference will serve as a clothing drive to provide coats and outerwear for men, women and children during the cold winter months. Those attending are asked to contribute a new or gently used coat that’ll be donated to a family in need.
The party will kick off with a delicious spread of treats and eats amongst the backdrop of the new Hotel Indigo, where guests will mingle and enjoy samplings from several service industry reps in the Pittsburgh area. Be sure to arrive hungry; each establishment will be providing their own personal take on “Comfort Foods.”
Food, cocktails, craft beers and wines will be provided by Muddy Waters Oyster Bar, Clique Vodka, and Wesley’s Delicatessen & Catering, among several others.
Sample European-style breads from Five Points Artisan Bakery, or satisfy your sweet tooth with delectable, “made-from-scratch” desserts from the Pie Place.
Adult beverages will also be on deck to compliment your meal-and-dessert spreads. Sip on succulent red and white wines from Bridges Wine Company, or hop right into the craft beer selection and sample a signature brew from Hop Farm Brewing Co.
Two ticket options are available for Taste the Difference: a “Join the Festivities” ticket ($80) will grant access to the event, as well as food and drink samples; and “Night on the Town” tickets ($318) will cover admission for two guests, food and drink samples, and an overnight stay at Hotel Indigo.
Ticket and event proceeds will directly benefit the East End Cooperative Ministry Food Pantry, a local pantry providing 700+ families with fresh groceries each year.
The event (21+) will be held on Saturday, December 5 from 7-11PM at Hotel Indigo. Guests are encouraged dress in black and white attire, enjoy ample cocktails and comfort cuisine, and support a worthwhile cause for community members in need.
