Pathways to Change: Performances and Awards
You might remember a little blip we did a few weeks ago on the Three Rivers Community Foundation’s Building Change: A Convergence for Social Justice. We’re here to tell you more about a series of performances being held in conjunction with the conference. Each of these local performers use their art to further the causes of economic, environmental and racial justice encompassing gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, youth, women and family issues and disability rights. These dancers, drummers, singers, spoken word artists, musicians, poets, and actors, are bringing about the change they want to see in the world by performing their art forms.

The performances will take place on Friday, October 14 from 7 to 11PM on the 5th floor (Mueller Center) of the Heinz History Center. Cost is $10. Visit the Facebook page for the event and make some plans!
Special shout out to our girl Kellee Maize, founder and co-owner of Nakturnal, NakYouOut’s parent company and Dream Job, who is proudly sponsored by our partners over at Iron City! We’re so lucky to have such talented artists who call the Pgh home. If you aren’t familiar, peep this:
