Carnegie Science Center 21+ Holiday Party
The Carnegie Science Center is mixing things up this holiday season with their annual 21+ Holiday Party! Tonight the Science Center will be transformed into an adult playground and kid-free zone, allowing guests to engage in some scientific fun (complemented by alcoholic beverages).
From 6-10PM, the four floors of exhibits, including BLUE!, SpacePlace, roboworld™, and Zap! Surgery, will all be open for exploration. A series of holiday-themed activities will also be available to join in on, such as using Poinsettias to measure acidity, creating fake snow out of polymers, making eggnog in the BodyStage, and exploring electrical circuits with Christmas lights.
Be sure to wear your best ugly holiday sweater and warm up by the fire with eggnog and other drinks from the cash bars. Local band, Still Not Sober will be playing a set, and for a few extra dollars, you can sit in on a screening of the holiday classic, The Polar Express, in the Omnimax Theater.
Tickets can be purchased here for $10 until today at noon, or you can purchase them at the door for $15. Additionally, guests will receive $15 in free slot play at the Rivers Casino and coupons for future visits to the Omnimax Theater!
