Bayardstown’s Backyard Summer Shindigs are Back
The Strip District’s go-to hangout for backyard cookouts and music just kicked off its summer season…
Since 2014, the Bayardstown Social Club has provided a backyard for those city dwellers without one, in addition to a place to hang out, meet new people, and listen to live music.
Equipped with a fire pit, grills, picnic tables, corn hole, and live entertainment, the outdoor space hosts everything from happy hours and bonfires, to fundraisers and yoga classes.
Check out some upcoming events Bayardstown has in the works for this weekend, grab your friends, and engage in a little summer pregame fun:
Pre-Memorial Day Party feat. The Dusty 45’s & Paul Luc
Spend your Thursday evening eating, drinking and doing good. On May 26 from 6-11:30PM, the Animal Rescue League Shelter and Wildlife Center will host a pre-memorial day party featuring The Dusty 45’s and Paul Luc. The $20 cover ($15 for members) includes bands, beer, and a bonfire, with a portion of proceeds to support the animals at ARL. Guests can also grab food from the Pittsburgh Sandwich Society Food Truck and are welcome to BYOB. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance!
Goin’ Coastal Release Party & Happy Hour
Be one of the first to try SweetWater’s Goin’ Coastal Pineapple India Pale Ale at Bayardstown’s Happy Hour this Friday, May 27. Start your weekend early with a 4:20 kickoff, and “slide into summer and off the grid” with the tropical IPA. The Berlin Street Food truck will be onsite, along with live music from The Unknown String Band and an acoustic performance by Chet Vincent. The event runs ’til 11PM, and those planning to attend can RSVP online.
Starting at $50, Bayardstown club memberships provide access to the backyard and discounted tickets to events. The venue is also open for appointments and private rentals.
