An evening of fashion to benefit the GLCC

Fashion and civil rights join forces this Saturday at Pittsburgh’s Union Project for an underground, avant-garde runway show featuring Pittsburgh-based designer LeFawn Barefoot and NY-based designer C.B. Fisher. Barefoot’s love, lucha line and Fisher’s Primitive Citizen line will both be showcased in an effort to raise funds for the GLCC who serves the LGBT community of the greater Pittsburgh area. “The Season Is Now” explores the cyclical nature of fashion trends with brave, dramatic looks ready to wear right off of the runway. House Of The Dead Unicorn, who is presenting this event, is a multi-city visual and performing arts collective. Looks are available for order and/or immediate purchase in the Union Project’s atrium directly following the close of the show.

Doors open at the Union Project at 7:30 pm for seating and doors close at 8:15 pm, as runway will be in progress. Tickets are available for purchase at the door, $12, or in advance, $10, by contacting LeFawn Barefoot (412.403.7092) or Ash Attisano (412.657.6731).

The fashion and fun continue with an after party at Remedy in Lawrenceville with Deejays from Restless Leg Syndrome and a special reunion performance by Kill The Unicorn 2.0.
