2 Week Street Boutique

Eight of Pittsburgh’s premiere street wear brands have come together to deliver a pop-up shop like no other. They’ve taken over Fe Gallery in Lawrenceville to provide attendees with a unique shopping experience, a party and daily specials throughout the two week period. It opened on May 21 with the FukDat Party #5 “The Notorious Boutique”. See photos here.

FukDat featured a Biggie Birthday Tribute with The New York Giant, DJ Red and FukDat deejays Nugget, Bonics, Pete Butta & Selecta. For $15 or $10 (with RSVP) peeps enjoyed an open bar, courtesy of their sponsors – Iron City, Redbull, Clique Vodka and vitaminwater.

The 2 Week Street Boutique brands include:

StreetHeart – Based from the slogan, “Lookin’ lovely, actin’ ugly!” we imagine StreetHeart to be a brand for bad ass broads. This women’s street wear line was recently launched by TimeBomb’s Katie Maillis and her pal Jessica Morriston.

Daily Bread – What started out as an online clothing and lifestyle photo journal by founder and creative director Bill Niels to profile a new generation of graffiti writers, skateboarders, and hip hop artists is now an established street wear brand featuring seasonal lines of high quality cottons, caps, and vintage fabrics.

Grand Scheme PGH – Vince Masi’s newest endeavor, “a mens lifestyle brand with a strong focus on quality garments, bold designs and finished looks, pulling inspiration from the 90’s skate, sport & hip hop culture.”

The Wonderful Life – Our pal Matt Gondek’s spooky, creepy, crawly tee-shirt line that features his popular illustrations. Lots of monsters, cute pups and guts.

Jock N’ Roll – Awesome, edgy, unofficial sports tees for all of your favorite Pittsburgh teams, and then some!

Vinny Vintage & Neil’s Deals – Dayom Vince, how many brands you got in this thang? “The 90’s were a decade filled with some of the illest fashions the industry has ever seen. And it’s even more evident now by the resurgence and crazy demand for these styles, that this era has some serious lasting power! From original snapbacks to Champion hoops jerseys, to sick t-shirts showing off that repeat or three-peat championship. Vinny Vintage & R. Dot’s Deals has them all!”

Crossfox – According to Vinny, “Crossfox is my clothing and accessory collection inspired by my lifelong love for the outdoors, animals, craft, travel the study of American history and rural life. It is rustic and hand hewn like an artifact of another time. To this I’ve added a wearable, modern and completley urban-ready fashion sensibility. All of the Crossfox pieces are handmade with wild and earthy people in mind. In my life and work I’ve sworn to NEVER sacrifice beauty for practicality.”
