Urbanist PGH Launch Party
Epic Development, a dynamic real estate development and consulting firm focused on urban renewal with an emphasis on design and execution, is partnering with Urbanist, a San Diego-based publication, to launch a city guide new to Pittsburgh. In its current state, Urbanist covers only San Diego, but Pittsburgh was lucky enough to be selected as its second test market, beating out east LA and Seattle. According to them, “The guide brings together the best the city offers in categories ranging from restaurants to craft beer bars to vintage stores in a effortlessly cool print guide and web platform.” It also focuses on smaller local businesses that make our city a unique and superb place to live. Packaged Pittsburgh charm in an easy-to-digest guide? Yes please.
Geared towards visitors and newcomers, the FREE guides will be carried in each location covered across the city, in addition to area hotels, apartment buildings, and more. Each guide contains a map displaying the location and proximity of neighborhoods to others, and advertisements as well as a complimentary website with an events calendar and blog. To learn more and get a feel for what they’ll be covering, visit Epic Development’s blog.
