sixate2Pop-up event series SIX x ATE is now celebrating its fifth year of local gatherings to connect and inspire Pittsburgh’s creative community…

If you missed the crew’s collaborative dinner and art series this summer, you won’t want to miss out on what they’re cooking up for the coming season.

Peep the perks and juicy details below:

The Scoop

For those who’ve yet to experience a SIX x ATE gathering, now is your chance to get on board…

sixateLocal artist and producer Casey Droege is SIX x ATE’s founder and curator. Her themed, recurring pop-up series highlights six artists at each event; after viewing the works, guests are encouraged to engage in short convos about them over a delicious, locally-sourced, full-course meal. Drogue strives to create an accessible art experience for SIX x ATE attendees, hoping to bring the focus on contemporary art and conversation to the forefront during a fun, enjoyable evening.

This year, themes were material-based (glitter, wood and concrete) with six artists presenting or performing for five minutes in relation to the theme. After, guests sat down for the meal to make connections and spark collaborations with other creatives in the city.
