Frock My World

From the creator of MTV’s Sorority Life comes Frock My World, a new TV series that follows the voices and creators of One of the site’s creators, Melanie Pagani, had this to say about the site: “I see FrockOn as being different from other fashion blogs. Each blogger has their own unique style. We’re not about creating a celebrity. It’s more about the individual blogger getting themselves out there.” The site’s founders, Melanie and Lisa, reviewed over 200 applicants before choosing the FrockOn team of writers. “We’re not bloggers, we’re writers, we’re journalists. It is really about the writers.” – Melanie

The girls are based in four different countries. Areas include Ohio, Sweden, New York, Vancouver, Pittsburgh, London, Chicago and more. All have regular day jobs and or attend universities. The girls spend most of their free time meeting local designers, going to second hand stores, high profile events and writing about almost every aspect of fashion in their local cities all for no pay. They do this purely for the love of fashion. Frock My World is an empowering story of young women trying to find their voice in the powerhouse multibillion dollar fashion industry. It also explores notions of how social media and the internet have changed the fashion world.

The first episode premieres this Sunday, April 15 on Facebook. We can’t wait to see it!
