Fringe Festival

Don’t miss your chance to participate in the internationally-celebrated Fringe Festival at no cost if you register before July 15. This not-to-miss event will be hitting the streets of Pittsburgh in May of 2014. The Pittsburgh Fringe Festival is dedicated to showcasing performing artists in an uncensored, professional environment. The festival promotes crafting an artist and audience connection through performances, education, workshops, discussions, and forums.

There will be two performance styles to choose from – Mainstage and the Living Room Series. Mainstage will be staged performances and will take place in the central area of the festival. The Living Room Series will take place in a living room off of the Mainstage where audiences can relax and enjoy a seated reading.

Fringe participants will also receive some awesome benefits, including a feature in the Fringe Festival Book. The production support team will do all the heavy lifting, leave the art to you, and will even help with some producer training while they’re at it. Participating artists will be provided with audience feedback from the show and festival, and get the chance to network with other professionals in the performing art scene. Other benefits include VIP admission to the Pittsburgh Social Club and special discounts on services, classes and marketing.

Although the festival doesn’t take place until 2014, the deadline to apply with a waived participation and application fee is July 15, which can save you up to $85!
