ArtBar at Club Cafe

If you’ve ever wanted to take a painting class, but don’t want to get too serious about it, now’s your chance to enjoy some paint alongside a cocktail at ArtBar, a pop-up painting studio that takes place at different bars around town. Visit Club Cafe in the South Side this Wednesday from 7-9PM to enjoy a mixed media painting class with local artist Kristen Ritchie, who will instruct attendees how to incorporate paper within a painting. $35 gets you one complimentary glass of wine and a 16 x 20 canvas, acrylic paint, and brushes. This event is for all skill levels, so even if you’ve never picked up a brush before, you’re still encouraged to attend and give it a go!

ArtBar pairs with local artists and bars to create pop-up painting studios that are perfect events for bachelorette parties, bridal showers, birthdays, and other special occasions – not just bars! The social aspect of the event is heavily emphasized, as you never know who you’ll meet when you attend an ArtBar party. Past events have been held at both Remedy and Industry Public House in Lawrenceville.

Purchase your tickets here and enjoy a relaxing evening of wine, paint, and company. For more information and to book an ArtBar party of your own, e-mail artbar.pgh@gmail.com. Participants are encouraged to arrive early when doors open at 6PM to grab a drink and claim their easel.

We’re looking forward to seeing what future installments of ArtBar have in store!
