Thanks to LazerCrunk residents, Cutups and Keebs, we’ve got a cool spot to groove and surprises to look forward to on the second Friday of each month.

The duo’s consistently hosted some talented performers this year, and we’re already looking forward to their roster for the next.

This weekend is the final LazerCrunk showcase ’til 2016, and they’re going out with a bang… On December 11, Cutups and Keebs will welcome Los Angeles DJ-producer, Kastle, to the ‘Burgh.

Since he hopped on the scene six years ago, Kastle has been making music and making waves among nightlife events, club scenes and high-ticket festival lineups, alike.

He’s played at Party Like Us labelhead AC Slater’s Night Bass parties, on the Playa at Burning Man, and at showcases repping his own label from SXSW to Output–one of Brooklyn’s best dance havens.

His production style hardly ever confines–it could start a party with a heavy rhythm, or put you in your feels with ambient blues. Think: wonky bass meets garage-grime, with fluid touches of hip hop elements, or R&B vocals layered throughout.

His talent and talent-breeding skill sets further facilitated the creation of his own record label, Symbols, where he holds down A&R duties. Since its inception, the label has featured artists ranging from Sweater Beats to Lindsay Lowend, as well as Druid Cloak, who’ll be joining him for his Pittsburgh performance.

Much like Kastle, Druid Cloak explores uncharted territories and unlikely soundscapes among genres. He is the founder and curator at Apothecary Compositions, a forward-thinking label dedicated to bridging these genre gaps of sorts.

In a recent interview, he stated that, throughout his career, he’s reveled in opportunities to unearth new perspectives on music, of which he considers “a unique language that can be expressed in a myriad of ways.”

Kastle and Druid Cloak play alongside Cutups and Keebs on Friday, December 11 at brillobox. Doors open at 10PM with a $10 cover. Presale tix are also available to purchase.
