A few weeks back we had the chance to interview Hawksley Workman, Canadian rocker and star of the upcoming The God That Comes one man cabaret. As the final performance of the Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts, it seems they may have saved the best for last. The performance promises to be dark, provocative, and one of a kind.
A recent Canadian review of the show states, “The God That Comes is brazenly sexual, but it’s an awesome experience and something rare and unique….Workman recalls Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Joel Grey in Cabaret, Freddie Mercury in Queen and even Leonard Cohen…..No one in their right mind would take their mother to The God That Comes but, for the daring, it’s an experience not to be missed.” – The Chronicle Herald
