Ziggy Marley “The Fly Rasta” Tour Giveaway
Following in his father’s footsteps by spreading love and informing the people through conscious lyrics, Ziggy Marley is on tour to promote his ninth album, Fly Rasta. The Grammy-award- winning singer/songwriter and producer grew up sitting in on his father, Bob Marley’s studio sessions, which fostered his love of music. This fly concert is presented by Drusky Enterainment and Kirschner Concerts.
Ziggy Marley is the eldest son of the Marley family. Performing both as a solo singer and front man of Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, his success is marked by his numerous hit records and awards. Ziggy’s first solo album Dragonfly was released in 2003, years after his emergence on the scene with the Melody Makers, who were releasing albums as far back as 1991. Whether performing with his family or rocking the mic solo, Ziggy cherishes and expresses the value of family as shown with his album Family Time.
But beyond music, Ziggy is a humanitarian and activist, as well as an entrepreneur. One dollar from each ticket purchased for this concert goes to Ziggy Marley’s U.R.G.E. Foundation, which seeks to support the education, health, and environment of children in Jamaica, Africa, and throughout the world. Harking back to the importance of family, Ziggy is now a children’s author. His book titled, I Love You Too is based on an earlier song of the same title. He also created a comic book titled MARIJUANAMAN that shatters expectations. His latest venture is Ziggy Marley Organics, a line of organic Non-GMO cooking products that includes flavored coconut oils and hemp seeds.
