This Thursday, head over to market square after work for a block party happy hour. Organized by Market St. Grocery and Creatives Drink founder Cody Baker, the series of events on Market St. gives attendees a chance to eat, drink, listen to music, and connect with PGH’s rapidly growing creative community. July’s party features music by DJs Preslav and Ondo, and creative street food by Market St. Grocery Chef Chad Rapp.
Pittsburgh Underwear Bike Ride

Since May, every last Thursday of the month Pittsburghers have been taking to the streets clad in nothing but underwear to promote positive body image. July’s ride meets at the corner of 46th and Butler and takes off at 8:30PM, heading to Spirit for the afterparty. Grab your bikes, safety gear and senses of humor, and head to Lawrenceville for a ride unlike any other.

Get Weird has been bringing high energy, “anything goes” dance parties to Butler Street for the past five years. This Friday, the dance party at Belvederes includes an exclusive raffle – everyone who attends will be entered for a chance to win a $50 BELVIE’S BUX gift certificate. Hot Mass <3s Orlando – A Benefit for the Pulse Of Orlando Fund

This Saturday, Hot Mass is holding a benefit to raise funds for victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting. All door proceeds will go to the Pulse of Orlando Fund, one of the only funds that is working toward the immediate and direct distribution of aid to victims. Since most funds won’t being dispersing money until October, Hot Mass chose this program to help bridge the gap between now and then. Stop by to jam to music by Clark Price, Naaeem M-w, Jarrett Tebbets and a special surprise, and help contribute to a great cause.

Head to Cattivo this Saturday for a night of “live electronic exploration and hardware investigation.” Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers and Lateral present Antenes, Paul Fleetwood and Open Synth Playground. Antenes will be giving both a live demonstration and performance of her psychedelic, amped up sounds that blend Drexciyan electro and metallic techno. Ex-Pittsburgher Paul Fleetwood will be returning with a DJ set, and before the event, Pittsburgh Modular Instruments will be offering a petting zoo/playground to allow attendees to try out machines first hand.

Chef Roger Li opened the Japanese street food joint in April to give the Burgh not only a delicious collection of delectable Asian eats, but also an extensive bar menu of beer, cocktails and sake. This Saturday, July 30, Umami is celebrating its three-month anniversary with a “Grand Opening Party.” Check it out for food and drink specials and music from Vince Gancia, DJ Bamboo, Imani Jackson, and Eye Jay.

This Sunday marks the first annual Crosstown Cookout, presented by the The Summit in association with Riverlife and Fame15 Creative. The party on the Mon Wharf includes live spray paint art by Jeremy Raymer and A. Gaglia, live music, food from Gaucho Parrilla Argentina, The Vandal and Leena’s Food Truck, with drinks from The Summit Pittsburgh and Popup Embury.
