Creative Clash Holiday Mixer @ The Pittsburgh Symphony
If you’re looking to engage in some seasonal merriment and kick off your holiday festivities, the Creative Industries Network is a great place to start. Indulge in a few of your favorite spirits and mingle with the Pittsburgh Technology Council and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra at their holiday Creative Clash Mixer on Dec. 9.
From 5:00-7:00PM, guests will coalesce in the elegant Mozart Room at Heinz Hall. Afterwards, you’re invited to stay for a special Scottish/Irish symphony performance by international Gaelic singing show, Celtic Thunder, at 7:30PM. Celtic Thunder will perform a theatrical show as part of their first Holiday Symphony Tour, showcasing popular works composed by Celtic Thunder and other holiday favorites. Designed as a contemporary exploration of Celtic music, Sharon Brown conceived Celtic Thunder, while Phil Coulter wrote and arranged the movements. Their sound typically reflects the pop-dance music genre, and features rotating leads through a set of traditional and contemporary songs. A block of seats will be reserved for attendees in the Family Circle, and tickets will be distributed on the night of the event.
This event is part of the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s Creative Industries Network. Through the network, the council aims to unite and cultivate the creative and technology communities in the Pittsburgh region and beyond. The event provides a space for people of both communities to associate with one another in relaxed backgrounds.
Want to hang? Tickets are $25 for members, and $35 for non-members. Additional costs will also apply if you plan to stay for the concert. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
