Our hectic party schedule doesn’t leave much time for fitness, which is why when we heard about Club Cycle in the South Hills, we knew we had to school our lovely readers. If you’ve ever taken a spin class before, then you know how challenging they can be. You’ve gotta be decently in shape to take a spin class without feeling like collapsing at the end of it, but Club Cycle’s upbeat atmosphere helps take your mind off of the fact that you’re exercising and distracts you with party jams and lights. It’s like trying to fool a kid into thinking homework is fun when everyone knows that homework totally blows.
What better way to learn more about Club Cycle than watching this video they’ve created?
So what separates Club Cycle from your average spin studio? For starters, they rely on “inspirational coaching” to get you through a session. From our experience, this is a must, as spinning is hard work. They also host an array of theme nights with DJs mixing live, as well as special lighting effects. They also pride themselves on providing personal attention for all levels of riders and the best instructors and staff.
As far as spinning goes, this one gets our nod as one of Pittsburgh’s best. If your New Year’s resolution is to get fit in 2014, why not try out Club Cycle and party your way through the new year?
