Cool Show Alert: ERAAS + Trust at Brillobox
Toronto-based synth pop duo Trust are nearing their last leg of their winter tour with a stop at Brillobox tonight. Lead by the moody, goth-inspired vocals of Robert Alfons, the duo’s other half is Maya Postepski, who you might recognize from VIA alum and Paper Bag labelmates Austra. Their debut album, TRST dropped last year to very positive reviews from Pitchfork, earning comparisons to Crystal Castles, but maybe a bit more majestic.

ERAAS joins them on the tour, and are really what make this package pop. Their recent self-titled release debuted on new Brooklyn imprint Felte, which is run by Ghostly International’s Jeff Owens. Dark, to say the least, ERAAS will surely set the tone for the evening with a live set that’s said to be what really shines the most about this band.
Locals Ennui round out the bill. Tickets are $12 at the door. Everything kicks off at 9.
