ARTS Inc. (Art Resource Teaching Society) is set to host an event that will help raise awareness and funds about the arts crisis in our public schools. ARTS Inc. serves many functions. It incubates programs that aid in the reinstitution of art and music classes in underfunded local schools experiencing budget cuts. It also connects artists with commissioned work from individuals, corporations and charities looking to raise extra funding for their causes. Another goal is to create a Nationwide, quality-controlled art community where artists assist each other in growing their careers. Their mission serves many purposes and wouldn’t be possible without public support. This is why they’re hosting their annual fundraiser, titled Art Squared.

Enjoy free art instruction and activities for everyone from children to adults on September 28 and 29 in Market Square from 11AM-10PM. Activities include:

Music & lyric writing
Laughter workshops
Dancing
Painting glassware
Sculpting/carving
Culinary arts
Tattoo art
Graphic design
2D design
Airbrush art
Modeling
Drawing
Painting
Photography
Architecture

This organization embarks on many community projects in order to invoke creative, intelligent thought. Art Resource Teaching Society Artists have stepped in to begin aiding in the reinstitution of art and music classes in underfunded local schools experiencing budget cuts.
