Night Fourteen Recap | Night Fifteen Deets
OOOOOOOh We’re half way there. O O livin on a beer diet! Last night was action-packed. We hit up Stage AE for their first ever outdoor show. What a sight! The sound was great, the sight lines were great, the atmosphere was perfect. The North Shore has really stepped up their game with this addition. I’m really looking forward to the summer concert season and what they have in store for Pgh. They also received some great local press in response to their first outdoor show.
The Steelers have a great photo gallery of the event.

We popped on over to the BBT afterwards for the FUZZ! 11 year anniversary party. Our friends were there with heavy hearts, as someone we know passed away over the weekend and his funeral was earlier that day. Andy was a great guy and spent his life serving others as an EMT. There are really no words to express the caliber of guy he was. We observed a moment of silence before Klute played. We will miss you terribly, Andy. This post is dedicated to you! I know it’s not much, but we had to shout him out.
Local drum and bass DJ Depth One killed his set! I’m not a huge fan of DNB, but he was tight. I even danced a bit and totally went against my theory of how impossible it is to dance to that type of music. It might have been the plethora of Iron City I had beforehand, or the fact the place was more packed than I’ve seen it get in quite some time, but the music had a lot to do with it. We stayed for about half of Klute’s set, which was also bad ass, but decided to call it an early night. We’re halfway through this thang and need to maintain our stamina.
Tonight we’ll start out the second half of our 30/30 rampage with a trip to the Smiling Moose. Nik Westman & Boca Chica are kicking off their tour tonight in the Pgh and we’ll be there to send them off proper. If you like chill tunes, pretty voices and cheap drinks, this is the place to be tonight. See ya there!
